Advice from Church of England

This is what we are doing at St Francis ...

We still want to help you!

Support and Learning

Although we might not be able to meet face to face we are still here to support you with your employment and learning. We are currently delivering all of our ESOL and skills courses online through Zoom so you can continue to learn. We are also running weekly Zoom coffee mornings which are open to everyone where you can join for a bit of a chat with the rest of our community and also get some helpful advice and information from our staff.  Contact 02476 266010 or 07555 60 75 75 for more information.

Meals

We WILL be offering breakfast and lunch for those who need it.  Breakfast will be available at 9:30am – please don’t come before this time.  You will need to leave as soon as you have had your breakfast.

Lunch will be served at 12.30pm – we will let you have takeaway lunch – you can pick it up at the church at 12.30pm.  Please call us and let us know if you would like a meal getting ready for you to pick up.

If you are unwell and unable to collect a meal please give us a call on 02476 266010 and we will try and help.

We are also acting as an emergency food hub.  Call 07555 607575 - we can help you!

Problems

If you have a problem and need help with benefits, housing, work or similar please call 02476 266010 or 07555 607575 – we will try to help.  Leave a message if there is no answer – we will get back to you.

Worries and pastoral support

Prayers

We will pray in our church every day, at 9.15am and 12.30pm.  We are not currently opening our services to the public, following advice, but the ministry team will pray together and you can contact us with your prayer needs.

We will also be posting daily prayers on our Face book page and website. Head to the worship and prayer pages.

Please DON’T come out if you are vulnerable and at risk of becoming ill.  Please DON’T come out if you have flu like symptoms.  Please look after yourself and follow government advice.
