Volunteering

We have received funding from the European Social Fund to support our volunteering program

Why Volunteer?
There are many reasons why people choose to volunteer…
-
To beat boredom
-
Because they are interested in an organisation
-
To meet new people
-
To gain experience
-
To learn new skills
-
To get a reference
-
To add something to a community
-
Develop confidence
-
To gain a sense of purpose
-
To help other people
-
Because they have been asked to volunteer
Whatever your reason, at St Francis Church we want to make volunteering with us the best experience it can be for you.We will work with you to develop a personalised volunteering plan that will meet your needs, whatever they may be.

Thinking of Volunteering?
All of our volunteers take part in a realistic recruitment process and are fully inducted before starting the placement. Most of our placements are for 8 weeks and include training and skills development. You will have the opportunity to accredit your volunteering and get lots of support in looking for employment
