This project is part funded by the EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. Making management of migration flows more efficient across the European Union.

My Coventry is a newly awarded project as of January 2021 and St Francis Employability is a key partner within it. The aim of the project is to work with non-EU nationals to address local, social and economic inequalities that hinder integration within the UK.

At St Francis Employability we will be focusing on supporting participants through accredited courses aimed at improving their knowledge of employment in the UK, helping them to gain or improve job specific skills and also to help promote integration within the UK and local community. The activities we will be undertaking through the My Coventry project are explored below.

ESOL Employability

ESOL employability is an accredited course which is offered at different levels. The course is adapted for people that do not have English as a first language and who want to learn more about working in the UK.

  • 3 modules Exploring Job opportunities, Maintaining work standards and Learning through work experience.

  • We will find a work experience placement for the candidate, and support their volunteering journey
