Cleaner

Working hours: Monday – Friday 3pm – 5pm

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure allocated areas are cleaned to a high standard as agreed with line manager

Ensure all cleaning items and resources are stored away after use in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations

To ensure all premises are locked, alarmed and lights are off following use

To liaise the project support officer to ensure adequate supply of cleaning materials and equipment

To report immediately any problems with premises that may affect health and safety, or impact on use of premises

To act as a key holder for the premises

The person appointed to this position will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Understanding of safe working practices

  • Understanding of COSHH guidelines

  • Physically fit

  • Responsible and self-motivated

  • Able to work well alone

  • Ability to work in a methodical and organised way

There will be a requirement that you attended specific training sessions as requested and annually undergo safeguarding training.

 

Job Type: Part-time
