We were spoiled today buy our fantastic kitchen volunteers who made a variety of pancakes for the community and our staff team, creating lots of unique shapes along the way including David's fidget spinner pancake. At the end of our Skills for Life course, students received their certificates for both lessons and volunteering. We celebrated their hard work, achievements, and progress in building English skills and confidence! 🌟👏

Our students practised using the past tense irregular verbs through fun games and information-sharing activities. It was an interactive learning environment where the students were fully engaged and excited to show what they learned.

Mahvish, Sadia and Josephin have been volunteering with us now for a few weeks and are always preparing delicious meals such as todays vegetable biriyani. They are affectionately known as the "Wednesday kitchen dream team." Thank you for all your hard work and culinary skills.
