By donating

We are a not-for-profit organisation that relies entirely on grants and the generosity of donors to fund our work. Without this critical support, we would be unable to continue offering the essential services that make a difference in the lives of those we help. Every donation allows us to keep providing these life-changing resources and programs to individuals and families in need. With your support, we can continue to fulfil our mission and make a lasting impact in our community.

Use the link below to donate to St Francis Employability.

By donating food

We always need essential food items to support our social supermarket and community cafe. We will accept ambient and fresh food donations into the church Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm.

If you would like to understand more about what items would be helpful or would like to know more about where your donations are going please call us on 02476 266010 and ask to speak to our food team.

How can you help?

Volunteering

We have received funding from the European Social Fund to support our volunteering program

By Volunteering?

All of our volunteers take part in a realistic recruitment process and are fully inducted before starting the placement.  Most of our placements are for 8 weeks and include training and skills development.  You will also get lots of support in looking for employment

Why Volunteer?

There are many reasons why people choose to volunteer…

  • To beat boredom

  • Because they are interested in an organisation

  • To meet new people

  • To gain experience

  • To learn new skills

  • To get a reference

  • Develop confidence

  • To gain a sense of purpose
  • To help other people

  • To add something to a community

  • Because they have been asked to volunteer

Whatever your reason, at St Francis Employability we want to make

volunteering with us the best experience it can be for you.

We will work with you to develop a personalised volunteering

plan that will meet your needs, whatever they may be.
