Learning Mentor

 

St Francis Employability are looking to appoint a Learning Mentor who has a passion for working with refugees and migrants. The ideal candidate will support clients in their journey of integration, to equip them with the knowledge, skills and behaviours required.  The learning mentor will act as a Key Worker with case management responsibility and will work with clients to diagnose their needs and understand their challenges, career ambitions, strengths and development areas in order to produce and maintain effective development plans.

This is a two-year contact, minimum 30 hrs per week. Salary 22,000 per rata

ESOL Tutor

St Francis Employability are looking for a tutor who is CELTA/TEFL qualified to teach in an engaging and dynamic way to a wide range of learners.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • The ability to be flexible, dynamic and innovative in the delivery of ESOL and Functional Skills courses

  • The ability to deliver ESOL and other learning opportunities in a range of environments

  • Be willing, and able, to take responsibility for the development of existing and new curricula centred around delivering ESOL

  • A willingness and ability to move from one programme to another at short notice to

meet the needs of a dynamic workload

  • Excellent IT skills

  • Excellent written and presentational skills

  • Empathy and ability to communicate with a wide range of people

  • Ability to work in a methodical and organised way

  • Ability to keep good records and extract data from records for reporting purposes
