Keeping Our Community Warm This Winter ❄️

Winter can be incredibly challenging, particularly for people facing financial hardship, health issues, or insecure housing. At St Francis Employability, we believe warmth is a basic necessity, not a luxury - and this winter we’ve been proud to support our community in staying safe and well.
We are a funded Centre for Warmth, supported by @Cadent, who have enabled us to provide essential warmth items to people who need them most. Through this funding, Cadent supplied heated blankets, hot water bottles, and heated gilets, helping individuals stay warm at home as well as when out and about.
Alongside this, our centre continues to offer warm spaces, where people can come in, enjoy a hot drink, and spend time in a welcoming, supportive environment. For many, this offers reassurance, connection, and comfort during the coldest months of the year.
This work reflects our wider commitment to supporting the whole person. Whether someone is accessing employment support, volunteering opportunities, welfare advice, or simply needing a warm and safe place to sit, we aim to respond with dignity, care, and compassion.
We are grateful to be able to play this role in our community and to work alongside partners who help us make a meaningful difference during winter and beyond.
❄️💛
