Do you have any spare wool from a jumper you never finished? We are looking for any wool that can be used by our visitors who are learning to weave and starting to make Christmas decorations. Any colour, texture, full balls or not. We would be grateful if you could drop it by the church, come and have a coffee with us and see how it will be used. Our incredible volunteers have been busy cooking delicious homemade pakoras using potatoes grown in our very own garden, and they tasted amazing! We simply wouldn’t be able to run our Community Café without the dedication, enthusiasm and hard work of our wonderful volunteers. Now that we are seeing the sunny weather arrive, we are starting to see the hard work of volunteers and staff come to fruition in our allotment. Having already harvested fresh garlic, we now have tomatoes and broad beans growing, and the beans are ready to be picked and used in one of the delicious meals at our community café.
