Meet Kandi!

When she first arrived in the UK, she was keen to meet new people, gain experience, and get involved in her new community. After visiting St Francis Employability with Chat Central (Voluntary Action, Coventry), she was inspired by the support on offer and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. So it did not take long before she wanted to become part of the team.
Now, as she approaches her one-year anniversary volunteering with us, Kandi continues to bring a smile, joy and warmth to her reception role each week. She loves welcoming visitors, meeting new faces, and being surrounded by friendly people, helping to create the welcoming environment that she says makes St Francis Employability so special.
Outside of volunteering, Kandi is an avid reader who can happily spend a whole day lost in her favourite novels, often borrowing stacks of books from the library.
She hopes more people in Coventry discover not only the services St Francis Employability provides, but also the lovely staff and volunteers who make everyone feel so welcome!
