A day of inspiration at UHCW

Yesterday we had the absolute privilege of visiting University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire, where we were given a fantastic tour and such a warm welcome by the wonderful Barbara.
Lewinsky and Aggie, along with a group of students, truly enjoyed the experience. It was not only an opportunity to explore the hospital environment, but also to really understand the values that sit at the heart of everything they do, Compassion, Improvement, Learning, Openness, Partnership, Pride and Respect. It was inspiring to see how these values are not just words but are genuinely reflected in the way staff work together, support patients, and create a positive and inclusive environment.
We also had the chance to learn more about volunteering opportunities, job roles, and apprenticeships, which gave our students a real insight into potential career pathways within the NHS. Barbara took the time to answer all our questions and made the session both engaging and informative.
A huge thank you to Barbara for such an inspiring and memorable visit - we really appreciate your time and support!
