Growing our partnerships at St Francis Employability.
Today we we very fortunate to have a visitor to help us keep our allotment watered, Ari, came to meet with Danielle and David to discuss our allotment project and look at all the vegetables we are growing for our community kitchen including our first cucumber.
We are really pleased to be working with Ari to help offer people the opportunity to engage more with local green spaces in Radford including volunteering in our allotment.
Ari is a Community Organiser from Grapevine Coventry and Warwickshire working on Green For All in Coventry. This is a National Lottery Heritage Funded partnership connected to the national Nature Towns and Cities programme in the UK. Ari works with partners across the city including Coventry City Council, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, Garden Organic and others to develop community leadership on green ideas.
You don't have to be an expert and your lived experience of life in Radford, Hillfields, Foleshill and other green deprived areas of the city is valued!
